A joint project with three other Rotary clubs building a sanitary block in a shanty town in Johannesburg.         This project started out when we provided woolen knitware to orphans.  Over the course of more than 2 years the project grew to providing a full sanitary block with fresh running water.    Funding for this major project was shared between ourselves, Umina Rotary and the Rotary Foundation and on site supervision by Johannesburg East Rotary.     Pastor Shadrack Lechaba (pictured with Genie Wright of Johannesburg East and Barry Henwood) provided the labour free of charge.
