A previous project where we delivered knitwear to orphans in Johannesburg led to this project where we combined with the Rotary Club of Johannesburg East, the Rotary Club of Umina, the Rotary Club of Hartford North (Connecticut) and the rotary foundation. The end result was the construction of a 3 cell toilet block with fresh clean running water, to service a preschool creche in the heart of a shanty town in Johannesburg, South Africa.

A wonderful display of poppies was assembled to mark the centenary of Galipoli. Gosford Rotary had only a small role in this project but a major role in the construction of the fountain and stairs which lead to Gosford's War Memorial. In 1973 we completed this project in association with Gosford North Rotary and East Gosford Rotary. We were pleased to be involved again in 2015.
