On August 31 Gosford Rotary met at the Preview Restaurant, on the Ourimbah Campus.             We enjoyed a really splendid 3 course meal produced by the apprentice chefs and served by students enrolled in the Hospitality course.
Then it was time to present 2 of our clubs favourite awards.                The "Jimmy", named after legendary rotarian Jim Kirkness was presented by his son, Tim Kirkness to Nathan Cooper as the best final year apprentice in the building trades.
The "Milty",named after Milton Fraser was most appropriately awarded for the best all round contribution to his course, and was presented to Kyran Vermey by our MC and stand-in President David Nichols.
It can be said that Craig Deakes, justly proud head of department, literally oversaw both presentations.
